Lost password

If the password is unknown (e.g. forgotten password), the registered user can log in using the procedure described below and then change the password. By clicking on the request, a message is generated by the system and sent to the email address associated with the registered user's account. This login option expires when used to log in or after a specified time interval (usually 60 minutes). The interval is set within the system configuration.

A page for changing the user's access password is displayed, with the option to immediately change the password for the next login to the system.

Access request if password is lost

Switch to the "Lost Password" tab or link [1]. Enter the user identification in the "User or email" field [2]. Click on the "Send link" button [3].

If the user ID is not found in the system, a warning message is displayed.

If the user identification (login name or email address) is a valid registered user identification, a message containing a link to log in will be sent immediately to the email address associated with the user's account. The page will display information that the password message has been sent.

After submitting the registration request, the user waits for a message to be delivered to the email address provided during registration that contains instructions for activating the user.

A message with the header "Lost password, " and the application (server) name is sent from the system administrator address (e.g. Support AION CS - atom@aion.cz ). The message contains a link [1] for direct access to the application with automatic login. Clicking on this link opens a new web browser page with the AToM application and performs an automatic login. The page for changing the password is displayed. The user's original (forgotten) login password must be changed as soon as possible. The procedure is described in the chapter on changing the password.
