Ontology and Topic Maps in AToM system

We are constantly confronted with a lot of information provided by the world around us. The AToM system offers a way to organize and make sense of the information.

The Ontology (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ontology_(computer_science)) technique of Topic Maps in the AToM system is a description of the domain of interest, i.e., the topic of interest, which uses the principles of Topic Maps (TM), Topic Maps or Topics (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Topic_map).

Topic Maps principles are used for knowledge representation and exchange, for defining concepts and relationships between them.
