Notices

In the part of the application designed for user profile management, there is a tab for managing notifications - Notices[1].

Notices allow you to send email notifications of changes to monitored items to the email address associated with the user's account. It can be used for a Class instance, an entire Class (Class instance list page), an entire Project (Project overview page), and a forum.

The notices list can be added using the envelope button (icon) with an arrow that appears among the toolkit at the top right of the page. Clicking the icon adds the page to the list and changes the color of the icon on the page. Clicking the icon adds the page to or removes it from the notification subscription list.

You can also remove a page from the notices list by clicking on the minus icon [2] on the notices management page. The four-arrow icon [3] allows you to move individual links and change their order in the notices list. For each record, the frequency of notification of changes can be set in the drop-down list [4]. The options are:

  • Immediately - at the earliest opportunity, typically within 10 minutes of the user leaving the monitored page who last edited (changed) it
  • daily - once a day, at 7:00 a.m.
  • weekly - once a week, every Monday at 7:00 a.m.

The "Remove corrupted..." button [5] allows you to remove items with corrupted links and fix changed link names in the notices list.
