Text attribute editor

An item of type "Text" is edited in the built-in text editor. Clicking on the edit icon displays the editor page with options to insert text, multimedia content, links to external resources, etc. with the option to format and customize the HTML-based appearance for web page display.

For text formatting, the editor provides a set of tools [1] with a bubble help. The text insertion field [2] displays formatted text, images, etc. HTML content can be inserted via the clipboard (Ctrl+C), which is automatically integrated and preserves the formatting and overall appearance.

The word count/character count [3] is displayed at the bottom right edge.

Click on the "Save" button [4] to save the content and close the editor. Clicking and the "Return" button does not save the content changes.

Text editing tools

The Text Editor provides a set of tools for formatting and further editing the edited text, inserting links, tables, images, etc. Clicking on a tool icon applies formatting, inserts an object or displays a dialog box to specify the object to be inserted, or performs some other action or setting.

7. Block formatting: set table or image formats, format paragraphs according to predefined styles
8. copy via clipboard: cut, copy, paste, toggle formatting of pasted text
9. remove formatting, check formatting
10. block formatting: numbered list
11. block indentation: more left, more right
12. return to edit: previous, next
13. setting text as index: subscript, superscript
14. display HTML code editor (F4)
15. toggling the editor view in the whole browser window or in a tab (F10)
16. inserting or removing a hyperlink (Ctrl+K), removing a link, inserting a bookmark, inserting an image file (Ctrl+M), inserting a video file
17. font formatting: font color, font background color
18. inserting a table, editing and setting a table, cell, row or column.
19. highlighting a paragraph in a block, inserting a framed block of "code".
20. inserting a fixed space, inserting a horizontal line, inserting a reference to an AToM object, inserting a note in the text
21. display the preview window of the resulting view (F3)
