Administration of the panels

To edit the panels, turn on the Dashboard.

You can place predefined or system administrator-created dashboards [1] on the home page or user page (tabs). The list of dashboards that a user can use is influenced by the user's role or the list of permissions assigned.

panel editing

  1. display a list of panels that can be added to the page
  2. restore the predefined page layout
  3. button to start managing predefined panels

Panels placed on the page can be moved and placed in individual layout columns. The procedure is described in the chapter on panel control.

It is possible to revert the page layout to its original form before starting editing using the "Reload Default" button [2]. To limit unwanted restoration of the original appearance, a dialog box is displayed asking whether to actually perform the operation. If you confirm "OK" the original appearance is set, if you confirm "Cancel" nothing happens.

The "Manage" button [3] launches the predefined panel management page, where additional panels can be added to the menu. If the user has not been granted administration rights, information about an attempt to enter a closed area will be displayed.

Procedure for inserting a panel into the page
  1. Click on the "Add" button with the "Plus" icon [1]. A new browser window will appear with a list of panels.
  2. The display of the new window in this way must be enabled in the browser, and if it is not, the smart browser will offer the option to enable the display, either temporarily (once) or permanently for this web page.
  3. Click the checkbox and select the panel you want to add to the page [4].
  4. Click on the "Add" button [5].

Controlling the History panel

Panels are defined in the system that display the activity history of all users related to instances of Classes. Especially for creating new instances, modifying existing instances and then for tracking access to individual instances of Classes. Unlike the activity list on the user account management page, there is similar information for all users in the system, not just filtered by logged in user.

These dashboards are operated in a manner analogous to the procedure described in the chapter on dashboard control.

The history panel contains a table, the operation of which is described in the chapter on table control.

There is a slightly different design for the placement of the navigation arrows [1], where the space taken up does not allow panel control, and the use of a filter mask is implemented differently [2]. This is only displayed after checking the "All users" option [3], which also allows the activity history of all users to be displayed.
