Table control

Tables are used in the application to display a list of instances. The list is paginated.

The number of records displayed is shown to the right of the table [1]. Next to it is a field with a drop-down list of several variations of the number of records on the page [2]. The number of records displayed on the page is set here.

The navigation arrows are used to switch between pages [3]. A sequence of page numbers is displayed between the navigation arrows at the bottom of the list, with the option to jump directly to the page [4].

  1. number of records displayed
  2. number of records per page
  3. navigation arrows to scroll through pages
  4. link to a specific page
  5. field to enter the number of the page to be displayed
  6. number of pages
  7. a field for the back filter text - a mask that must be in the "Base Name*" of the record

Another way to navigate through the pages is to enter the page number in field [5] and confirm with the "Enter" key. The total number of pages is displayed next to it [6].

In the table, records can be filtered using Mask [7], where only records that contain the text fragment specified in the mask in the text of the Base Name* item will be displayed. Case and diacritics are ignored when filtering. Unlike full-text search, filtering does not include similar words, derived words, inflected words, etc., and filters only by the Base Name* attribute. The filter is set by typing the text in field [7] and confirming with Enter. The filter is deactivated by deleting the text from the field and confirming with "Enter".

Mask filtering also supports wildcards. This means that one character or a group of characters can be replaced by a wildcard in the filter expression. Only those records whose Base Name * text contains all parts of the filter text that are separated by a wildcard are then displayed in the result.

Mask wildcards

% represents any string
_ (underline) represents any one character

Example:

A record that has Base Name * with the text "Cat climbs through hole, dog climbs through window. Agent 007.", will be displayed when using the following Masks - "cat", "dog", "cat%dog", "k_t", "cl___s", "00_", etc.
